Donovan Lee (QB RB WR DB), a top high school football prospect, finished with over 2000 yards rushing. Last school year, he was all-conference in Volleyball, Basketball, Football and a national qualifier for Junior Olympics in running and field events for both AAU and USA Track and Field. In 2010, Donovan aspires to attend and play for a private school where it is his goal to work hard to prepare himself to earn both an academic and athletic scholarship at a university. My trip to Dallas for NBA All-Star weekend. First we went to Club AM/PM for a party hosted by Lebron and Drake. Other appearances were made by Chris Johnson, Miles Austin, Danny Green, and dejuan Blair. Next we experienced Jam Session and also attended the East and West All-Star practice at the Dallas Convention Center. Later on that night we went to Club Bacy's for the Best of Both World's party hosted by Kobe Bryant, Vince Young, Chris Johnson, and Mya. The club held a capacity of 7000 and had services from 21 bars. Last we went to the Finale Party at Sting Ultra Lounge hosted by Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, and Dwyane Wade. Appearances made by Adrian Peterson and Lebron. Overall one of the best weekend of my life. Next year we'll probably do this all over again...LA here we come!

Kesivan Naidoo and the Lights at the Standard Bank Jazz festival. The phenomenal young drummer Kesivan Naidoo is Standard Bank Young Artist for Jazz for 2009. He has made his presence felt strongly in South Africa over the past decade and he has begun to carve himself an international reputation. He is a fine example of the success South Africa is beginning to reap from its youth development programmes, as he was selected for the Standard Bank National Schools Big Band in 1995 and the Standard Bank National Youth Big Band in 1999 and 2000. His particular strengths are a transformatory energy on stage, a keen commitment to maintaining the integrity of his artistic expression, and a willingness to explore all musical genres in an effort to give voice to the music inside. The bands he performs with and composes for range in style from post-bop to traditional Indian to acid jazz and all have one thing in common they are cutting-edge. Here he fuses a variety of musicians who have influenced him in past years, drawing from them their musical light to achieve a common goal on stage. Joining him is the virtuosic alto saxophonist from Stockholm, Johan Hörlén; Australian trombonist Adrian Mears, a leading light in the European avant-garde; Reza Khota, steeped in Indian and Classical guitar; adventurous Cape Town pianist Andre Petersen; and one of Europes busiest bass players, Swede Martin Sjöstedt.
